Fulfillment and Processing Timelines:
Our website offers real-time rates from multiple shipping companies for customers to choose from when placing an order. The cost and processing time of the order depend on the carrier selected by the customer during checkout. The standard processing time (this does not include shipping time) of an order is between 24 hours and 5 business days. Once the order is processed, the shipping time will be calculated and displayed to the customer. It is important to note that the shipping time may vary depending on the carrier selected, and may be influenced by external factors such as weather conditions, carrier issues/complications, and customs processing times. We recommend that customers consider these factors when choosing a carrier and shipping method that best suits their needs.
Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout and are based on the weight and size of the order and the shipping destination. Domestic orders within Canada are shipped via Canada Post or Purolator, while international orders are shipped via DHL, FedEx, and others. Please note that customers are responsible for any taxes, customs duties, or other fees that may be applicable to international orders.
Shipping Methods:
Customers can choose from various shipping options at checkout, including standard shipping, expedited shipping, pallet/skid shipping, and express shipping. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on the shipping method selected and the shipping destination.
Note:
Pioneer Solar & Renewables reserves the right to change shipping costs, availability, shipping method, shipping carrier, and warehouse location without prior notice. This means that the cost of shipping a particular item or storing it in a warehouse can fluctuate over time, and may not remain consistent from one transaction to another.
Pallet Shipping:
a. All products will be shipped via pallet/skid delivery. Pioneer Solar & Renewables Inc. will use a third-party shipping provider to transport the product(s) to the destination provided by the customer during checkout.
b. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, size, and destination of the pallet/skid(s).
c. Pioneer Solar & Renewables Inc. is not responsible for any delay, loss, or damage of products during shipping. Customers must file a claim with the shipping provider in the event of any damage or loss during shipping.
Power Tailgate Service:
Customers should be aware that a Power Tailgate service charge will be assessed with a minimum charge for this service is $70.00 per shipment per stop. Customers are responsible for this charge. Reasoning for this service stated below:
a. if the shipper or receiver requests the use of a power tailgate.
b. if the receiving facilities are not appropriate for the safe handling of the shipment.
Note:
If the customer cancels the tailgate service after booking but requests for tailgate service at the doorstep, there would be a reattempt fee along with the tailgate service charge.
Delivery:
a. The delivery date provided by the shipping carrier/provider is an estimate only and is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, traffic, carrier issues/complications, customs processing times or other events outside of both the shipping carrier/provider and Pioneer Solar & Renewables Inc. control.
b. The customer or their representative must be present at the delivery address to receive the product(s) and sign for the delivery. If the customer or their representative is not present, the product(s) may be returned to the shipping provider’s warehouse and additional fees may apply for re-delivery.
Receiving the product:
a. Customers must inspect the product(s) upon delivery and note any damage or discrepancy on the delivery receipt before signing.
b. If the product(s) are damaged, the customer must contact the shipping carrier/provider within 24 hours of delivery to file a claim. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of any claim or refund.
c. Power Tailgate Service when the shipper or receiver requests the use of a power tailgate, or if the shipping or receiving facilities are not appropriate for the safe handling of the shipment, a Power Tailgate service charge will be assessed with a minimum charge of $70.00, per shipment, per stop.
Payment and Tracking Information:
We accept payment via personal cheque, cash, bank transfer (email transfer or EFT (electronic fund transfer)) major credit cards, and PayPal. Customers will be charged at the time of purchase. Once the order has been shipped, customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Returns:
We accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date. All returns must be sent with the original packing and the item must be unused and in the same condition as received. Customers should include all original packaging, manuals, and ancillary materials. Certain items are not returnable, such as those that have been opened and/or installed. Solar panels/modules are non-refundable items.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping and should send the returns with prepaid shipping only.
