The Enphase IQ System Controller 2 seamlessly integrates your home with grid power, IQ Batteries, and solar PV systems, tailored specifically for IQ8 Series Microinverters. Ideal for new installations, it offers microgrid interconnection device (MID) functionality, automatically detecting and transitioning to backup power during grid failures. With a consolidated design in a single enclosure, it simplifies interconnection and enhances grid-independent capabilities for residential setups. Its features include a 10-year limited warranty, safe grid connectivity, automatic grid outage detection, and seamless backup transition. The controller mounts easily with centered brackets and supports whole or partial home backup, with conduit entry from multiple sides. It also includes a neutral-forming transformer for split-phase 120/240 V backup and seamlessly integrates with compatible generators. Paired with an IQ Load Controller, homeowners can prioritize power to critical loads during outages. With breaker support up to 200 A, maximum continuous current of 160 A, and nominal voltage of 240 VAC, it’s compatible with IQ Batteries, M215/M250 Microinverters, IQ6/IQ7/IQ8 Series Microinverters (Note: IQ System Controller 2 does not support mixing different microinverter series).
