The Fronius Primo 5kW FULL is a single-phase string inverter that combines compact design with high performance. It is specifically designed for residential and small-scale commercial PV systems, offering power categories ranging from 3.8 to 8.2 kW.
With its transformerless design, the Fronius Primo enables efficient operation in residential applications, complying with the maximum input voltage of 600V as per ESA rules. For increased efficiency and cost savings in commercial applications, it can operate at the maximum input voltage of 1,000V.
The Fronius Primo 5kW FULL incorporates industry-leading features as standard. It utilizes dual maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technology, which optimizes power generation by tracking the maximum power points of multiple strings of solar panels. This ensures maximum energy harvest, even in challenging conditions such as shading or panel mismatch.
To enhance safety, the inverter includes arc fault protection, which detects and mitigates the risk of arc faults. It also features Ground Fault Protection with Isolation Monitor Interrupter, which monitors ground faults and provides disconnection when necessary. Additionally, it incorporates DC disconnect and DC reverse polarity protection for added safety measures.
The Fronius Primo 5kW FULL complies with various safety and industry standards, including UL 1741-2015, UL1998, IEEE 1547-2003, FCC Part 15 A & B, NEC Article 690-2014, and more. This ensures the product meets rigorous quality and safety requirements.
